"T800" Class Sauna Chimney
The demanding conditions of the sauna room have been considered in the design of the Siro Air sauna stove chimney. For example, sauna stoves do not allow the same combustion control as more advanced fireplaces. Additionally, the combustion technology in sauna stoves is compact, resulting in higher flue gas temperatures than in regular fireplaces.
In the Siro Air Sauna, air continuously flushes the structure, preventing it from overheating. The hotter the air, the faster it moves, ensuring the structure does not overheat even during heavy use.
Applicability:
- Tested for vertical installation and at 30° and 90° angles
- Uniquely tested at 855 °C with a 6-hour operational temperature test and a 30-minute 1000 °C soot fire test, which determined a 26 mm clearance to combustible material.
- Tested for encased structures
The product system includes an underlay and vapor barrier seal made from EPDM rubber compound, as well as roof sealing, when ordered. The chimney connections are tested for placement within building insulation. The chimney allows for installations in encased structures and wall penetrations.
