When an interior designer starts their own home project, the standards are naturally sky-high. Every detail must serve not only aesthetic but also functional and ecological goals.

These standards also guide the product development at Härmä Air. Thus, our Siro Air makeup air chimney presented the natural choice for Milla Alftan's home. She was charmed by its stylish appearance, functionality, and energy efficiency.

From the very beginning, it was clear that Milla's home would feature a heat-retaining fireplace. It would provide a self-sufficient and ecological solution for both heating the home and cooking.

The impressive fireplace, equipped with a slow-cooking oven, was created in collaboration with NunnaUuni, a Finnish manufacturer of striking traditional fireplaces. From the size of the fireplace to the surface materials, the solution was entirely tailored to the interior designer’s wishes.

Every fireplace also needs a chimney. Naturally, Milla chose the best for her home – a chimney that does far more than just safely removes smoke gases.

The chimney channels the combustion air required by the fireplace. The air heats up along its path, thereby improving combustion. The fire ignites more easily and burns more cleanly and efficiently.
